Featured Penny Auction BidCactus

Today we wanted to tell our readers a bit about BidCactus.com on of our favorite penny auction sites. They have been around for awhile now and always seem to be one of the bests sites in the field of penny auctions. I have been a member of this site for several months now and I know personally that they are a fair and treat their users well.

One of the best things about bid cactus is their rookie auctions. All to often on other penny auction sites we see the same professional bidders winning all of the items. Not with these rookie auctions they are not. Rookie auctions allow only new bidders to bid on these items. This really keeps things fair since you know the other bidders don’t have thousands of stored bids to work with. If you are looking for your first taste of penny auctions and want a good chance of winning this is where you should be.

Another great thing about bid cactus is that most of their items are small value gift cards. These are great for keeping the fun action of penny auctions going and keep your costs low. Because the value of the item is so low it really keeps most users from going overboard with their bidding. I mean no one wants to pay more for an item in bids than its really worth.

Did we mention they are also in the Better Business Bureau? Because they are. This is very rare when it comes to penny auction sites. So many sites are just scams and ignore user feedback. Not bid cactus. They know that their business is fun and fair and have opened them selves up to BBB reports to prove it.

When it comes to penny auction sites bid cactus is one of the best and we hope that you all will join and take home so great items knowing that your auction will be fair.

Looking for a Coupon for Bid Cactus? Well if you are a new user to the site we have a coupon that will save you $10.00 your first bid package! You can get the coupon by reading our post on the BidCactus Coupon.

Your First Penny Auction Win

June 17th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Penny Auction Tips

Once you picked a penny auction site its time to get bidding. But before you just jump right in on the first item that catches your eye there are few things you need to know.

First many users already have a lot of bids, and I mean a lot.  If they have been on the site long enough they probably have won their fair share of bids. Think of it, buy 50, win 200, win 200, win 50 these things can really add up. These bidders already have their eye on that new iPad.

As a new bidder what you need to keep your eye out for is Rookie or Novice auctions.  These auctions are limited to members that have never won an auction before. This means that everyone in these auctions is on a level playing field.  No pros allowed.

Keep an eye on these rookie auctions because you only get one first win. Your first win can either be a pack of more bids or even an iPod. Its just a matter of being very careful choosing your first auction because once its gone you are going to be in with the big boys. So make sure this one counts. If you need some great penny auction sites to start with we recommend you start with one of our recommended penny auction sites.
